Evanston's Historic

American Legion Post 42

Since 1919

Would you ride in this thing?

Our good pals need a lift up!

Dear friends,

Our historic Legion Post is in need of a new elevator to help get disabled veterans, seniors, and friends safely to the second floor of our building located at 1030 Central Street in Evanston where events are held.

The American Legion has been serving veterans and their families for 103 years. Thanksgiving dinners for veterans, Bluegrass music, and old-time Pancake breakfasts are just a few of the many events held at the Legion in Evanston. The elevator lift there has seen better days and requires a complete replacement that will be enclosed and brought up to building code to safely bring guests into the Hall.

Please help us raise the funds necessary to complete this important and badly needed upgrade to assure that our veterans, seniors, and others can safely participate in all the Legion offers!
